Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until well coated.
- Open the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit with your fingers or a rolling pin to create a thin disk.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each biscuit and fold the edges over to seal, pinching firmly.
- Brush the tops with melted butter for a golden finish and extra flavor.
Cooking
- Place the filled biscuits in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8–10 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Serving
- Serve warm, drizzled with caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For extra crunch, stir in 2 tablespoons chopped toasted pecans into the apple mix. For a vegan version, use dairy-free biscuit dough, coconut oil, and a plant-based caramel.
