Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts The heart of the recipe.
  • 12 oz Cheese tortellini Adds texture and richness.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For that luscious Alfredo sauce.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese A must for authentic flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Adds aromatic depth.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Keeps the dish moist and flavorful.
  • 1 tsp Salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Essential for seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Mince the garlic and add it to the crockpot, along with the chicken broth.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well to create a luscious sauce base.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or on high for 1.5-2 hours.
  2. About 30 minutes before the cooking time ends, add the tortellini and parmesan cheese. Stir gently to incorporate.
  3. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the pot, mix everything together, and enjoy your creamy dish!

Notes

If your sauce is too thick, just add a splash of chicken broth or water for your preferred consistency. For healthier alternatives, use Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream or whole grain tortellini for more fiber.
