Preparation
- Toast the slices of crusty bread until golden brown.
- On one slice of bread, layer the sliced chicken.
- Top the chicken with chopped romaine lettuce.
- Drizzle Caesar dressing over the lettuce and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, cut in half if desired, and serve.
Notes
Serve it warm or at room temperature. Add a side like chips, a small salad, or a handful of fresh fruit. A pickle or lemon wedge goes well with the Caesar flavor.
