Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan lightly.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth.
- Stir in melted butter until well combined, then add eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Spread butter, cream cheese, or nut butter on a slice. Store cooled bread in plastic wrap or an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days, or freeze slices for up to 3 months.
