Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix For a homemade version, mix dried parsley, dill, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Consider Greek yogurt for a lighter option!
  • 1 cup chicken broth Swap with vegetable broth for a vegetarian-friendly twist.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the CrockPot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, softened cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the ranch mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover your CrockPot and set it to low for 6-8 hours.
  2. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken. Let it melt into the creamy goodness.

Notes

To save time, prep the chicken the night before and combine it with the ranch seasoning. If your sauce ends up too thick, just add a splash of chicken broth to bring it back to that perfect creamy consistency. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze portions in individual containers for up to a month.
