Cooking Your Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place sliced onions and garlic at the bottom of the Crockpot. Lay chicken breasts on top.
- Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Shredding and Serving
- Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it with two forks. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of water to achieve your desired consistency.
- Pile the shredded chicken onto your choice of bun and top with coleslaw and pickles, if desired.
