Preparation
- Grease the inside of your crockpot with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Spread a cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer half of the ravioli on top of the marinara sauce, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
- Repeat the layering process, ending with the remaining marinara sauce and a final topping of mozzarella cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
Notes
Consider prepping your ingredients the night before. If your sauce feels too thick, add a splash of water or broth to loosen it before serving. For healthier options, consider using whole wheat ravioli, light cheese, or adding veggies like spinach.
