  • 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved Sweet potatoes can be used for improved health benefits.
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • to taste Salt and pepper Ensure proper seasoning for optimal flavor.

Method
 

Preparation of Honey BBQ Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, and minced garlic. Stir well to blend.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper before brushing generously with the honey BBQ mixture.
  4. Place the chicken on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Halfway through, brush with more sauce to enhance that sticky glaze.
Preparation of Garlic Parmesan Potatoes
  1. In a large bowl, toss halved baby potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the potatoes on another side of the same baking sheet (or a separate one) and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  3. Bake alongside the chicken for about 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes

To avoid common cooking pitfalls, ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and season potatoes adequately to prevent blandness. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days; freeze for up to 2 months.
