- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken thighs in a large zip-lock bag, pour half of the marinade over them, and seal the bag. Massage the chicken to ensure it’s well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken thighs, reserving the leftover marinade. Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side or until browned, then flip.
- Pour the reserved marinade over the chicken and let it simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
Serving
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
