Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture and flatten it into a patty. Place a spoonful of the cooked macaroni and shredded cheese in the center, then fold the meat around it to completely enclose the filling.
Cooking
- Arrange the stuffed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Remove from oven and drizzle the tops of the meatballs with the barbecue sauce.
Notes
Serve hot on a tray for guests. Add extra barbecue sauce on the side for dipping. For more flavor, consider using ranch or a simple hot sauce.
