Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 1 package Oreo Cookies (Crushed to make base.)
  • 4 tbsp Butter (Softened)
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (Adds sweetness)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • 2 packages Instant Chocolate Pudding (3.9 oz each)
  • 3.5 cups Milk (Any dairy or plant-based milk)
  • 12 oz Cool Whip (Light and airy texture)
  • to taste Gummy Worms (Optional decorative alternatives) For decoration

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush Oreos: Put cookies in a bag and crush with a rolling pin until fine crumbs form.
  2. Make base: Mix crushed Oreos with softened butter until crumbs hold when pressed.
  3. Chill base: Press the crumb mix into the bottom of cups or serving dishes. Chill for 10 minutes.
  4. Mix cream cheese: Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Make pudding: Whisk the two pudding mixes with milk until thick, about 2 minutes.
  6. Fold Cool Whip: Fold half of the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mix to make a smooth layer.
  7. Layer cups: Add a layer of pudding over the crumb base, then a layer of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat if cups are deep.
  8. Top: Sprinkle more crushed Oreos on top to look like dirt. Add gummy worms if desired.
  9. Chill: Put cups in the fridge for at least 30 minutes so layers set.
Serving
  1. Serve in clear cups so the layers show. Add a gummy worm on top for fun.
Storage
  1. Cover cups with plastic wrap or lids. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Do not freeze.

Notes

For firmer base, add a bit more butter to the crumbs. Soften cream cheese to avoid lumps. Chill layers between steps for cleaner layers.
