Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a food processor, combine the black beans, almond butter, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Tip: If the mixture seems thick, add a splash of almond milk for better blending.
Mixing
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well-combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and smoothen the top.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Tip: Keep an eye on the baking time to avoid overcooking; these brownie bites are best soft and chewy!
Cooling
- Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
Notes
Store leftover brownie bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to four days or refrigerate them for a week. These bites freeze beautifully; simply wrap them individually and store in the freezer for up to three months. Thaw them before indulging!
