  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (use Greek yogurt for a healthier alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard For a kick of flavor.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack) Works beautifully.
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery For crunch.
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion Use green onions for a milder taste.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
Wrap Assembly
  • 4 large tortillas Whole wheat for a nutritious twist.
  • Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, spinach, or avocado For extra freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-blended and creamy.
Add Cheese
  1. Stir in your shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
Heat the Tortillas
  1. Lightly warm your tortillas in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side to make them flexible and easier to fold.
Assemble the Wrap
  1. Spoon a generous portion of the Tuna mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Add optional toppings like sliced tomatoes or avocado.
Wrap It Up
  1. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly from the bottom to encase the filling.
Grill for Extra Crispiness (Optional)
  1. For added texture, grill your wraps on a pan until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the filling and using too much mayonnaise to prevent sogginess. You can also prep the tuna mixture on Sunday evenings for quick lunches during the week.
