Watermelon Popsicles

These refreshing watermelon popsicles are a healthy treat made with fresh fruit, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh watermelon, diced Make sure to use ripe watermelon for natural sweetness.
  • 1 juice lime Can substitute with lemon juice.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup Optional; adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.
Optional Ingredients
  • to taste fresh mint leaves For aromatic flavor, finely chopped.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the watermelon into small cubes to make it easier to blend.
  2. In a blender, combine the watermelon, lime juice, honey (if using), and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. If desired, stir in finely chopped mint leaves for added flavor.
Molding
  1. Carefully pour the watermelon mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a small gap at the top for expansion.
  2. Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, ideally overnight.
Serving
  1. To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then pull the popsicles out.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 months. This recipe is gluten-free and can be made vegan by substituting maple syrup.
